Most laundry services run on a 24–48 hour cycle: pick up today, deliver tomorrow or the day after. That works fine for normal weekly laundry. But sometimes you don't have tomorrow — the work uniform is on the floor, the kids' soccer kits need washing before practice, or guests are arriving in 6 hours.
That's what same-day laundry service is built for. Here's how ours works in Surrey, who's actually using it, and how to book one when you need it fast.
Who actually books same-day laundry
- Travellers. Flight in tomorrow morning, suitcase full of dirty clothes. Same-day clears everything before the trip.
- Parents with sports kids. Three uniforms, two practice kits, one tournament weekend. Same-day on Friday saves Saturday morning.
- Professionals with last-minute meetings. Suit needs to be clean by the morning client meeting.
- Hosts. Guest sheets and towels need turning around fast.
- Anyone who got behind. Sometimes life just gets busy and the laundry mountain wins.
About 1 in 6 of our Surrey pickups are same-day. The most common reason isn't an emergency — it's people who realized they need it that morning and couldn't wait until tomorrow.
How our same-day service actually works
Three windows, all on the same day:
- Pickup window: Book before 11 AM and we'll pick up between 12 PM and 2 PM the same day. (Earlier in the morning works too — call us if it's tight.)
- Wash window: Your laundry gets prioritized in the queue, washed with premium detergent, dried, and folded.
- Delivery window: Back at your door between 5 PM and 8 PM the same day.
You're holding folded, clean laundry roughly 6–8 hours after you booked.
What's included in same-day
- Wash and fold (our standard process)
- Pickup and delivery to your door
- Premium detergent and care for everyday clothes, kids' clothes, sheets, and towels
What's NOT same-day
Some items take longer regardless of how rushed the schedule is:
- Heavy down comforters (need extra dry cycles)
- Items requiring specialty handling
- Very large bedding sets (king-size duvet covers, etc.) — usually next-day to be safe
If you're not sure whether your load qualifies, just ask when you book — we'll tell you straight whether same-day is realistic or whether next-day is the safer call.
How much does same-day cost
Same-day adds a small priority fee on top of our standard $22 Standard Package — typically $10–$20 depending on size. The exact quote happens on the call. We won't surprise you with the cost when we deliver.
How to book it
Two ways:
- Call us before 11 AM for guaranteed same-day pickup.
- Use the online form and mention "same-day" — we'll call you back within 30 minutes to confirm.
We service all of Surrey same-day: Newton, Cloverdale, Guildford, Fleetwood, South Surrey, and surrounding neighbourhoods. If you're outside Surrey but close, ask — we sometimes can.
